Day 01 LIMA - AREQUIPA

Airport pick up and assistant for your flight to Arequipa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR + CONVENT OF SANTA CATALINA

Free morning for better acclimatization.
In the afternoon we will start the City Tour Colonial by the "White City", where we will visit the Cathedral, the Convent of Santa Catalina, beautiful convent built in the XVI and XVII century, Dome and cloisters of the Society of Jesus, colonial mansions, the Main Plaza, church and plaza of San Francisco, Yanahuara where we have a magnificent view of the volcanoes that surround the city. Free afternoon. Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 03 AREQUIPA - EXCURSION TO COLCA CANYON - CHIVAY

We begin our tour through the Colca Valley, the northern route, along the way we will appreciate the town of Yura, located around the Chachani Volcano; then go through the National Reserve of Pampa Cañahuas, where we can appreciate the flora and fauna of this zone, wonderful landscapes and important archaeological ruins, churches, residents in traditional costumes, and customs. Arrival in Chivay transfer to hotel. In the afternoon visit the hot springs of La Calera. Return to hotel. Overnight Chivay.

Day 04 COLCA CANYON

Visit to Condor Cross with the opportunity to see the famous Andean condor.
We go to the Viewpoint of the Condor cross, place with better view of the depth of the Colca Canyon and where you can view the majestic flight of the condors, also has a magnificent view of the opposite side of the canyon, where the village Tapay is nestled. After that we return and on the way visit places of tourist attraction like the Hanging Tombs Pre - Inca Litomaquetas, Lookouts Terraces, and passing traditional villages like Pinchollo, Macay & Yanque. Return to Chivay. Night hotel.

Day 05 CHIVAY - PUNO

In the afternoon we go to Puno, on the way we will visit Patahuasi from where we observe rocky formations caused by the erosion of time, then pass through the village of Imata, where we find the stone forest Pillones which is observed from this town, visit the ponds in which we can find variety of birds, alpacas and llamas. We will continue the journey to live Puno, arriving in the city at about 18: 30 hrs. Reception &transfer to hotel. Overnight in Puno.

Day 06 PUNO - UROS / TAQUILE (LAKE TITICACA)

This day we will go to the port to take the boat that will lead us to the artificial Island of the Uros , island in Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Uros Island is constructed of "Totora" an aquatic local plant, also used by villagers to build their houses and make their crafts. Box Lunch. Then visit the Natural Taquile Island, Andean community that preserves its form of ancient life, customs and their typical outfits. Return to the city. Overnight at Hotel on the Island.

Day 07 LAKE TITICACA - PUNO

Enjoy the mysticism that features the beautiful Andean landscape of Peru aboard a luxury train.
Riding the Andean Explorer is a unique experience, a journey between mountains and clouds, and between mountains and highlands. Ten hour train ride, in which route the traveler will appreciate the changing landscapes between mountains, rolling plains, and the varied climates in the area.
The Andean Explorer is the most luxurious way to travel and different between Lake Titicaca and Cusco.
Reception and transfer to hotel. Overnight.

Day 08 CUSCO: CITY TOUR + 04 RUINS

Morning free for acclimatization. In the afternoon city tour and visit the surrounding ruins, including the main square, the Cathedral, Koricancha which was a military and religious center of the Inca Empire, and was dedicated to its principal god, the sun, Tambomachay (Inca baths ), Puca Pucara (military control center), Kenko amphitheater (evidence of mystic character from that time) and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Transfer to hotel. Overnight.

Day 09 SACRED VALLEY

We will begin the trip to the Sacred Valley, where we will have the opportunity to know the typical terraces of the Inca period and villages as Pisac and its colorful Indian market, Calca, Yucay, Urubamba.Lunch. In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo an enormous Inca complex of administrative, agricultural and religious functions. Here you can see great rock walls, temples and palaces. Afternoon free to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Return to hotel in Cusco.

Day 10 LOST CITY OF THE INCAS - MACHU PICCHU TRAIN HIRAM BINGHAM BELMOND

On this day, a visit to the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Board the train for
heading towards Aguas Calientes passing for Ollantaytambo (3 hrs. and ½ train ride.) Then take a bus to go to the holy city that remained for centuries unknown until for accident in 1911 was discovered by Hirman Bingham. The guided tour of the archaeological site of Machu Picchu includes the step by urban areas that lodge the mayors architectural elements of the Inca city and its main enclosures the Temple of the Sun, the Intiwatana, group of the sacred stone, the temple of the three windows , mausoleum, etc. Buffet Lunch at Sanctuary Lodge (the only hotel in the citadel) to have option of returning to enjoy the ruins of Machu Picchu until the afternoon to take the bus back to town. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 11 SECOND DAY IN MACHU PICCHU & HUAYNA PICCHU - CUSCO

Very early if you want you can return to reenter the citadel of Machu Picchu and if you feel physical capable , you can climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu, from where you have a complete view of the citadel of Machu Picchu, for that you will need your admission tickets to Reentry to Machu Picchu + Huaynapicchu (indicate the shift you wish to do it, 07: 00 -08:00 am or 10: 00 am -11:00 am) + round trip shuttle bus tickets. In the afternoon return to Cusco. Overnight.

Day 12 RETURN TO LIMA AND CONNECTING INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT

At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport, arrival at the airport in Lima and assistance for your international flight.
